Chapter Three

"Then lets find them and hand them over to the police" John stated.

"Do you feel strongly compelled to deal with that or are you drawn in other directions?"

He shrugs. "I dont know. I think so... Maybe thats why i started following Sam around, i knew i knew her and there was something but then she got hauled off and that was pretty funny i didnt know people still do excorcisms" he semi-grins.

He then shrugs again. "But i dunno... Maybe... I think i wanna know why and i think i know who did it but i cant remember either because i dont want to rememer for some reason or because they were behind me and i am only vaguely sure it was them" he says ponderingly. He also now appears to be avoiding eye-contact with John.

John his eyes "No need to be scared of me unless you fuck with us, it's not like a harm the innocent anymore...if I can help it" he stated calmly.

"Hey i have been nothing but honest and sincere with you, you're the one threattening people i mean honestly what is wrong with you?" Adam remarks irritably to John.

"Short fuse" he stated blandly.

"We do our best but none of us are perfect, not a single one. Besides don't forget the part where you pushed a fucking girl into a busy road so you're not in any position to judge" Trust snapped near the end.

"Why not follow us up to your apartment and we'll see if we can get clues. Help us all move past this".

He flails a little. "Fine" he then heaves with a sigh, trudging off towards the construction barrier gates.

Trust followed.

Ditto

Chariot follows

Luke follows behind seeming quiet and contemplative.

Adam heads out and back up to his flat. He then walks 'through' the door.

John will walk through the doorway.

Trust follows.

Chariot Follows

You are now all back in Adams flat.

Adam wanders around and then flumps onto the sofa. The cusions crumple around him then seem to bounce back despite his 'weight' upon them.

Luke remains quiet and starts taking more photos.

"so who was this girl then, maybe her dad was the one who killed you, if thats the the case we'll make him hand himself in" he stated.

Adam shrugs. "She just felt familiar and something about her bugged me" he remarks dryly.

"Well how about we dont try and kill those that bug us, it's a hard skill i know" he stated.

"Come on Adam. Put in some effort to remember "

"How can i remember if i dont know, its not like i got stabbed from the front is it" he remarks. "I got stabbed in the back. Literally... I kinda feel figuratively too though to be honest" he then sighs deeply.

"well there is a knife missing in your kicten, maybe Sam would know more?" he asked.

He shrugs. "Maybe."

John look unimpressed "Right Trust, please go and speak to Sam, Chariot look around for a laptop/computer, mobile or the likes. Luke can you help chariot? And lastly Adam dont leave our sight and help us if you can" he ordered.

"Yes, dad" Adam quips dryly.

Luke nods.
