John will get open the door and hold it open "you first" he said.

"Oi" says a voice from inside the cab. John then immediately feels the door handle slip from his fingers and the door slam shut again. "Its polite to knock and ask first mate" the voice says again.

"Where to?" The cabbie asks rolling the passenger-side window down to let them see in.

The first face you see is that of the same glossy-eyed boy as before. Despite having a seemingly unchanging expression he gives the impression he looks considerably displeased, and hes looking at John.

The driver leans across to look at you all as he waits for your response, seeming to partially phase through the boys right shoulder with his broad left one.

"The Spaniard?" he remarks seeming a little perplexed. "I don't know any Spanish... Oh, wait" he then chuckles a little. "You're not locals... 'The Spaniards' is the name of the pub up the road. One of the oldest in London apparently. I dropped Joycelin off there earlier today, she's probably still there. She's one of ours, I'm guessing that's who you mean. Hop in i'll take you" he then says in a kindly manner.

Before you set off the man turns to face you and slides opens the deviding window. "I suppose nows as good a time as any to say welcome. Im Evan Peterson. Nice to meet you all" he says kindly, extending his hand through the gap to shake.
