This basement area is quiet. The only lighting comes from small slit windows at one end of the corridor behind you, and dim-lit strip lights overhead. A few doors lead off to the left and right, labeled as the kitchen, servants offices and a livery closet. After a few moments Mike stops outside one of these doors.

The whole area down here feels very other-worldly. You all feel a sense of death, and it feels both maddening, and comforting.

At this stage you may all gain 1 point of plasm back.

He heads in

Inside the room is relatively small. There is a bed and a chair beside it, and a small chest of drawers in the corner. There is a young woman, and you can just about make out in the dim light and through the tufts of hair that this is none-other than Lacey. She is tucked up and seemingly sleeping silently to the human eye, but you can all see shes drugged. There is a glass on the side with some kind of 'sugary' residue inside it.

Mike stands silently. Perception roll everyone.
