"i think that way, I am paying therefore I do not owe you or anything which fits within our groups desires" he said.

Lawrence nods. "I can respect your collective desires to maintain your independence" he smiles. "Will you want a contract drawn up for this arrangement?"

John nodded "I think that would be wise, keep this professional" he said.

Lawrence nods and smiles. "I can have a contract drawn up for review by tomorrow. If this suits you?"

"sounds like a plan" he said offering him his hand to shake.

Lawrence shakes his hand.

"I'm guessing I shouldn't be packing yet" john said after shaking his hand.

"Perhaps not just yet. When you do decide to take up residence however i advise keeping some distance between your bed and the haunt itself. Its not... Good, to sleep at one. The residue tends to disagree with our geists if we do, this disagreement can have colourful ways of manifesting itself. The top floor is safest" Lawrence says.

john nodded "I see thank you for letting me know, I was planing on living down there but I think I'll replan"

He nods. "I made that mistake once when i first became bound... Put a man in hospital" he says solomnly. "Is there anything more you would like to know?" He then asks.

"Are my friends safe from those harvester people you spoke about and if not how do I kill them so they can't hurt my friends" he asked directly.

Lawrence goes quiet for a few moments and leans on his knees with his elbows, resting his chin on his interlocked fingers. "Im afraid i cant answer that... Im sorry" he says sadly. "To kill a sin-eater outright though, you need to kill, or in the least, banish their geist. Otherwise the geist will simply resurrect their chosen sin-eater again. We are, when it comes down to it, just hosts for a powerful ghost. They do not appreciate people harming us when they've gone to the trouble of brokering a deal to live again with us" he says gently.

John nodded "I'm not a very comfortable person to be around am i?" john asked.

"Its not that. These 'Harvesters' have been around for a long time causing all manner of trouble for not only us sin-eaters. They target us, but they draw attention to everyone purposely, we have hunters to deal with and even the conclave... They're brutal. And... Many people have lost someone to them in some way..." he sighs. "... Im sorry. Its a necessary subject to discuss but its difficult. And i know all too well how you feel in your wish to keep those closest you safe from them" he says sincerely.

John nods "i guess i'll find all this out it time" he said.

"As will we all i hope" he nods.

John nodded "Well Lawrence I think I've taken much enough of your time, thank you for seeing me" he said standing.

Lawrence nods. He stands also and extends his hand. "It was a pleasure" he smiles in his usual friendly manner.

John shakes his hand "Indeed" John will leave and go look at hardware stores.

On the way he'll text trust "Thanks for offering to put me up, I hope you understand why can had to decline?" he sent her.
